Chrome Beta install no menu link created, I wonder if the menu link for the non-Beta Chrome which was installed previously was mistakenly see as the Beta. Or it could be the install script needs a fix.

The PA.c Platform doesn't create a menu link. It shows every app it finds in the proper locations. I'd wager it got accidentally hidden. If you click the Apps link on the right and then select Show Hidden Apps, it will likely show up again with a strike through it. Right-click the app and uncheck hide, then click Apps and uncheck Show Hidden Apps.
