Hello,
I was wondering if anyone knew of a program (Portable or not) that allows you to move the programs in the Taskbar. I'm not really sure how to explain this, but in windows, you know, the programs... like how now if you look at the bottom(or top) or your screen, you'll see a button for firefox, intenet explorer, or opera saying that you have it open. Something that'll let you drag those around and re-order them. Like you can re-order the tabs in Firefox and the new version of IE.
Thanks,
MAT
You could try a shell replacement.

Hypothetically, if I didn't know what that was, what would you say?
The shell the comes with Windows is Explorer. It controls the appearance of application GUI elements (style, not content) that aren't controlled by the app itself (title bar, menus, etc.), as well as desktop UI elements such as the taskbar. A shell replacement takes the place of Explorer and controls the aforementioned UI elements. Most, if not all, shell replacements allow for much more flexibility of visual styles than Explorer (that's a huge reason to replace it!).
A quick web search for "shell replacement" turns up the major apps. I have not had the chance to compare the various programs, so I can't say which ones are good/bad.

Thanks! I'll try that.
I tried looking, and found myself lost and scared in a world I know nothing about. All I've done to my shell is change the start menu to say "Go! MAT" instead of "start", and have an M instead of a windows logo.
Anyone wanna help me find one that does what I want, isn't to drastic of a change from explorer.exe, and is easy to change back to normal in case I can't figure it out or don't like it?
Thanks,
MAT
If there isn't a batch file or program included to return the shell to Explorer, they should have docs on their site that help.
