When I open portable apps, it starts at the top right corner of the monitor.
I then move it down to the bottom right location of the monitor.
Upon shutting down and restart, portable apps returns to the top right corner of the monitor.
This is a recent issue and did not exist prior to February 2024.
This appears to have started with portableApps 29.3

Are you closing the PA.c Platform when you're done using it to save the setting before shutting down Windows? It's working for me here with a single screen.

I have the same problem. I usually have PA-menu in bottom left corner. After closing and re-opening menu, it always goes the middle of the left screen border. I have dual screen, with PA-menu on main screen (1920x1080). Second monitor is 1280x1024. What can I do?

I setup the same scenario and it worked here without issue. Where are you positioning the menu before you close it? After closing it, open up the PortableAppsMenu.ini file within X:\PortableApps\PortableApps.com\Data and check what the entries are for StartPositionHorizontal, StartPositionVertical, and LastMonitor-COMPUTERNAME.

Just opened PortableApps menu and it started at the top.
I thought I had found a work around for this issue by setting the StartPositionHorizontal to Right and StartPositionVertical to Bottom, then setting the file permissions to read only so that portableApps could not change StartPositionVertical to Top which is what it has been doing.
But today, despite the settings, the Menu started at the top of the screen.
StartPositionHorizontal=Right
StartPositionVertical=Bottom
LastMonitor-COMPUTERNAME=0
will keep an eye on that (thread) as i want even to have remembered the last position by every used app.
