I am finding that the VLC Playlist file (.xspf) contains an absolute path which will not work if you use the USB flash drive on a computer where the assigned drive letter is different. I tried several changes to the path and none worked. I searched for this problem and I only found posts from 2008 and no solution. Is there a solution to this problem?

The launcher portablizes the drive letters in the ml.xspf playlist which acts as VLC's Media Library. Are you manually saving playlists and playing them later? If so, those aren't portablized.
