Hmm...

This place is only interested in doing open source software. Fontographer doesn't appear to be freeware, or open source.

Fontlab appears to be by the same company and is not open source.- $649 says its not free.

Type tool is more basic, but only $99

Consider instead asking for an open source version. Google is a power tool- Font forge is an open source font generator.

RE: "Google is a power tool"...

Yabbut...

It doesn't have any of them big, honkin' rechargeable batteries that we snap into it to make it work; nor does it have a 6-10' long power cord; nor does it have a belt clip that we can snap it into our toolbelt with..

Sheesh; some "power tool", that...

Agreed.

And you're better to go with some high end ones, like Ryobi, or DeWalt. Oh yea, I'm fairly sure I spelt those both wrong. Oh, and my Google has a power cord?

Is built into Windows 2000 and XP.
Easy to use, and allows you to create private characters that can be copied from the Character Map
