It would be nice if they have advanced setting that would be included backup settings rules from apps by user.
it will be save storage and time on device and cloud!
my idear is that portable apps able to set owen folder/files to back up setting of any portableapp apps. this would be save as a backup_rule.txt
now you can sync/backup data with portableapps by one-click on device or cloud. also can be included compression with password.
the portableapps are able to filter list clear and export just path list do import into Owen backup-software/cloud service.
Maybe freefilesync dev are support.
i have no idea from coding, but maybe you can image...

Configurations like that is better suited to a dedicated backup utility. Toucan can do some of this. The backup utility within the platform is designed for simple, basic backups made very easy for the end user.
