The Portable version of the Smart Defrag 9.4 will NOT keep any settings changes from one use to another.
If I change the checks from
- Minimize to system tray when the program is closed
- Load automatically at Windows startup
- Show Defrag with Smart Defrag in context menu
None of these changes will last over to the next application start-up
These Automatically change back to being checked. This is very annoying when you go to remove your USB drive and windows is saying the Drive is still in use.

Starting automatically at Windows startup would load the app itself and bypass the portable launcher, so that's checked for and removed. Show in the context menu is similarly not portable and would cause the app itself to run and bypass the portable launcher, so the files that requires are removed from the portable app.
Minimize to system tray when the app is closed works without issue as long as you click Apply and then OK. You also need to be sure to close the app within the system tray before Windows closes otherwise the portable launcher won't save the settings.
Sometimes, the impossible can become possible, if you're awesome!
