Do I need Shockwave?

Flash works fine for me. Youtube videos work. No, my problem deals with online flash games. It seem the Flash doesn't work for Flash games. So, I'm thinking that I need shockwave. If so, how would I go to get it installed? Thanks.

As listed right on the Mozilla Firefox, Portable Edition page, you need to download and install is specificially.

Using these instuctions.
