Guys, could you optimize the process of downloading and installing updates? Your downloads and installations take several hours on my notebook or my work computer. This is completely unimaginable. Is it possible to somehow reduce this time by orders of magnitude, so that it doesn’t drag on for five or six hours, but within at least one hour?
Hi, the update of 8 programs here last less than 15 minutes (downloading time plus installation time).
Maybe your antivirus software or your network firewall is sort of blocking it.
My Avast antivirus used to slow the download of a specific program (mssPortable aka Microsoft Safety Scanner) and blocked others (CDex and ccPortable).
Check your antivirus and firewall.
Hope it helps.

Is every app slow to update? Or are only some really slow while others are fast?
If it is only some (and they are all open source apps) it could be your local Sourceforge mirror has speed problems.
If it's the open source apps like Firefox and Thunderbird, it's likely your local SourceForge mirrors are a bit slow. Most closed source apps we host ourselves on our own download server. Some apps like LibreOffice are hosted by the publisher on their download network.
Sometimes, the impossible can become possible, if you're awesome!
I have the same issue with downloads being slow. The issue was also slow when I lived in California and my work network was fast (600mb download speed). Now I live in south east China and the issue is the same.
Is there any way I can support additional mirrors?
Currently I'm downloading LibreWolf and the download speed is 24.3kB/s.
