Hi all,
can anybody recommend an free opensource kanban or peronal kanban tool for windows?
If it's allready portable even better but not necessarily required!
If you know a free tool portable or not which is not opensource better send me a PM
as the may be not welcome here as they cannot be made portable and available here!
Please no tools needed to get hosted on the web to get in use!
I'm asking as I didn't found here any kanban tool.
Thanks in advance!
Let's get started!
Edit: Cleared a missing letter in Title.

@all users here
What are the kanban and personal kanban tools you use respectively can recommend?
Are there any OperSource?
And must it be unconditional a OpenSource App for a request, I see some Freeware Apps also here?
Edit: I understand that Freeware are also welcome. I read somewhere that it should be only OpenSource. Was it the requriments?
Thanks in advance!
P.S.: If I get a bit of time by a Kanban Tool I think of maybe helping here out a bit.

All of the currently maintained open source ones I found on a quick search are intended for server usage, usually by multiple people. Except for one called Kanri. It's lightweight and works well in my initial testing and would be easy to portablize. I dropped the author a note asking for permission as the Kanri name can't be used without permission.
Sometimes, the impossible can become possible, if you're awesome!
Hi John and community,
I’ve responded to your request via email and would be happy for Kanri to join the PortableApps.com ecosystem. I’m looking forward to hearing back from you so we can define the next steps to make this happen.

Hi Trobo,
that would be great as I'm desperately looking for a kanban and calendar/schedule tool.
I'm looking forward to test the first portable version.
John will give you details as I'm only a standard user.

@trobonox
Do you have a backup or archive function in the actual version?

You can export your data as JSON files (either individual boards or all data at once). It's not an automatic process but regularly exporting your most important boards allows you to make "backups".
Hi Trobo,
it's just a proposal but maybe you could get it one day automatized
and on the way let the user let activate an option to put atomatically
the actual date and time before or after the files name by saving it.
That would be a great thing on the way to a possible full automation.
I try to keep short!
What is your favourite (free, portable) PIM/calendar/schedule tool on Windows?
I try to find something that can show tasks as a appointment by
setting a time span or drag&drop.
You are doing a great work, keep doing!
Thanx in advance!

The feature list and offline function sounds very nice and it's tiny.
I'm for it.
P.S.: I posted it to General Discussion as a App have to be found first.

Is the permission from Kanri developer there?
He send you a mail directly but I have no idea if you got what needed.
What's the state?
Thanx in advance!

i concentrate then more on finding a portable calendar app with task as appointment!
but please keep this great tool in mind for getting portable!
as i see it got from 0.6 to 0.7.1 which is great!
despite the backup feature it's already great at 0.7.1!
we keep it in mind!
P.S.: I found a great usefull mini app but as it's native portable I don't request it. I'm also wondering why there are portableapps versions if the developer has one.
