FeedReader not working / is it from here?

Hi all,
my FeedReader portable seems not to work as it is not updating the feeds
even if I do it through the settings to update immediately.
I'm wondering if I get it from here as it is not on the apps page and I found there some 12 years old apps.
Is there any specific folder structure or specific folder name in the main directory which would give a hint?
Thanks in advance!

If you are having problem

If you are having problem with the feeds from portableapps site, the problem is not in your software - I'm currently getting "Error 403 (Forbidden)!!1" in the feed reader and if I open the "http://portableapps.com/feeds/general" address in the browser I'm being redirected to "https://feeds.feedburner.com/portableapps_com" but trying the feedburner address in my feed reader also results in a 403 error...

It's probably a server configuration error, a problem on Google's side or a bot protection activated on a page meant to be read by robots - by definition feed pages are meant for robots so any "are you human" / DDoS protections result in such type of errors...

I think the last time it was

I think the last time it was the only feed worked in FeedReader but on another Reader it doesn't recognize it as a feed.
I try it once again on FeedReader.

Update:
Yeap, 15 new updates from here and all other feeds don't get updated.
And only they appear at "unread" so no updates from other feeds. Wired.
They all have some problems: 301, 308, 404 or ?.
I checked recently that the archiv has no limit so I don't have any idea.
They sure don't change every from ? to atom or make other bug /problem!?
And no, I mean FeedReader seems to have problems with (almost) all my feeds or is broken.

i help where i can! help each other! be nice!

Can you post a few feed URL's

Can you post a few feed URL's for testing?

P.S. Are you sure you got the FeedReader app from here?

BTW I'm just another user here, using a different feed reader software so might not be able to help.

Error 301 Moved Permanently - usually means the address has changed and it's a good idea to update to the new feed address.
Error 308 Permanent Redirect - basically the same as above error, open the feed address in a browser to see what the new address is.
Error 404 Page Not Found - you need to check if the page is still there and if it's still offering a feed, might have changed the feed address.

I

I think you should can open these feeds as they not even atom.
What's the older one?
If they don't work in your app they will be broken but I don't know why should one want to loose readers by changing links.
The working feed from here opens an xml file with no style only a tree view.
You mean this should happen if it's working?
I check the other later as I was today the half day down.

I'm not sure if the post with

I'm not sure if the post with the feeds got through as I got some internet issues for a couple of hours.
Other issue could be that it maybe can only be posted as a PM here.
I wasn't longer here, do we have PM here?

Removed

I removed it as it was a duplicate of this one. Please read my comment lower down about why the app you're using can't access modern websites.

FeedReader not working / is it from here?

Info to all:
1. The apps here have a specific folder structure and:
2. FeedReader has a zip file version which seem to be the portable app I have.

Abandoned

FeedReader was abandoned years ago and probably doesn't work with modern security methods. I'd recommend using something like RSS Guard Portable.
