Apologies if this has been asked and answered, but I couldn't find any information about it....
I just discovered and installed Portable Google Talk and it's running like a charm, but I'd like to know whether there's a way to install themes for it (such as can be downloaded from the "themes" page here: http://www.customizetalk.com/). I'm stuck with just the "classic" theme for choice of appearances in the Settings dialog... but since there *is* an Appearance option there, I'd like to be able to use it.
I traced where the "themes" install, and by default, Gtalk puts them under your Documents and Settings folder I do believe. So in theory... you would have to modify or create a add on to Gtalk. That way Gtalk searches for "themes" in a different default folder with the app. (ex: Portableapps \ Gtalk \ [themes]) It is illegal to modify Gtalk...so your best bet would have to be make an add on, plug in, etc.
