I use GoogleChromePortableLegacyWin764 and I have noticed that there's a registry key that stays in all the time (even with browser disabled) at HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Google\Chrome which contains UsageStatsInSample entry. After its manual removal the key/entry gets regenerated on next browser launch. Any chance for automatic removal of the registry key at shutdown?
This is fixed in the current Google Chrome Portable 129.0.6668.71 release. If you download it and install it (or open the installer with 7-Zip Portable), you can copy the GoogleChromePortable.exe launcher into your old copy and it should handle that registry value for you.

what about the legacy version for win 7?
If you want, you can probably copy in the GoogleChromePortable.exe launcher from Stable into the LegacyWin7 version.
That said, the legacy Win 7 version really shouldn't be used. It's completely insecure.
