Closing KeePass, nPOP, and stickies.-

This is probably not the right place to ask... but If you don't ask, you don't receive an answer... Blum

I'm using PStart, when I close PStart, I have an entry to convey with -exit and "run on exit" that works very good.

I just want to know if there is a way like that (I don't see this kind of command lines in help files on other apps) to close/exit/quit, not kill, apps like specifically KeePass, nPOP and stickies...

Thanks in advance.-

NEW INFO: Yesterday I received a mail from nPOP developer... next version will have -exit... now I have to write to KeePass dev team and stickies...

Check this thread

the tip by arqbrulo and using nircmd works well https://portableapps.com/node/3628

Hope this helps.

I have been checking...

I have been checking that thread... I have to point out, I don't want to "kill" apps, I want to close/quit/exit them...

For example, when you kill convey, it leaves the shortcuts in send to folder, now convey have -exit and I can run a second instance of convey to close the open one... I'm just asking if I can do the same with those apps, not kill but close or quit or exit...

I don't have a signature
Should I have a signature?

If a packet hits a pocket on a socket on a port,
and the bus is interrupted as a very last resort,
and the address of the memory makes your floppy disk abort,
then the socket packet pocket has an error to report Biggrin

I knew what you wanted

which is why i directed you to the thread. The second post refers to "closeprocess" using nirmcmd instead of kill.exe. This is effectively the same as 'close' or 'quit', and not the same as quit. Hope that explains it better.

KeePass is kind of tricky

I wrote an own menu that closes some started applications on exit. Closing KeePass works most of the time, but not always. Don't know why. So this might get difficult...
