need help by searching a... or resolving an issue with FreeAlarmClock portable, see my other thread:

any multi timer? / opensource favoured!

(Edit. I don't want to make john work so at least partialy portable needed.)
does anybody know favored opensource alternative and/or regularly updated?
possibly with multiple timer?
i need multiple timer, seen one nice but freeware and seem to be discontinued as no more on developers page so don't think possible to portalize from the net.
FreeAlarmClock is now trash and either repairable (new download also error) nor updated since 2022.
i'm searching desperately and am helpless since a week.
i would prefer opensource as my last changed behaviour without been updated or asked for internet connection or update so not trustable and broken anyway!
thanx million!

When needed something in terms of clock, every windows has this feature build in. Just enter 'clock' into the search lens.

need more timer at once

was never happy with that and need at least tea timer and maybe countdowntimer.
ttclock is ok, only missing to set more timer at once.
need sometimes to set more at once.
no idea why he didn't add a '+' to get next line with next/another timer.
have now temporarily ttclock in size 28.

Alarm Clock needed for Win 11 as of patch tuesday, 10/14

As of yesterday finally being forced off Windows 10 and onto that virus we call 11, I will too vote and vote doubly for a portable alarm clock. This is actually very necessary for debloated windows 11. Installs where the entire M$ Store "app" system is ripped out by the roots. (It meets the definition of a virus - self altering without ability to decline or disable, installing unwanted "apps" at its own directive, annoying the user with popups about new apps to open this type of file - the app store is poison.)... Well if you rip out the app store, in the latest build, you have no clock interface (only date / time, yet the clock still appears in the systray.). So for those of us who want a clean telemetry & virus free Windows, we need an alarm clock program. Please community address this need.

specify

as you already get answer in your other thread,
you should be somehow specific as what app you really want make portable, name the source of it and check if is not commercial (payware)

Just repeating same in other parts of the forum will hardly produce the expected result.

BTW: I can not find what should be wrong with the clock in w11, it works has multiple times etc.

specified...

i think he means as me, multiple timers and not multiple clocks.
i search one too. not yet found a solution.
i search for one that lists all runing timers under a desktop clock in one/same app.
the current date right of the time would be great.
i hope there is one such win app.
thx

have following customization?

sorry, he said he misses it and i'm on and over my limit.
i will see later but have experienced in the past that other devs have more flexible apps...
like you can free move the clock and timers on the display, make it bigger or seethrough, pin it or show on top.
i will see if have time, if its enough, possibly not.

hanging between 2 options...

i need up to 5timers same time so i'm thinking of following options...
i'm hard fighting to resolve it...
1.smartphone,i.e. android or secure derivate like graphene,x os or l...
as graphene needs 1y or longer to new smartphone dev, i propably go to next option...
2.portable console with win11 like maybe asus, xbox or whats cheaper but not very low performance and (easy) changeable battery

explaination

i mean that i need to add further timer when the first one is still on and counting down.
and they should be stacked over each other with names on the right side of each.
on top of them would be hopefully actual time and date.
the timers could be maybe preseted, like 10m coffe, 5m tea etc
so you activate the needed preseted timer or add new one if needed.
i had once a similar win app but it broke and you cant fix, so i loook for another one.
i read somewhere that android and/or iphone have multi timers but i possibly need to wait a year till graphene introduces their phone. so i could get a secure phone for shoping and banking.
some calendar apps have tasks but it didnt show countdown time or a bell as activated symbol and it was so buggy that you could deactivate it by click on a place far from it.
i hope you understand now. i mean you have 5 timers runing simuntantousely as you activate so many for different things.
thx

you can add timers

and place them where you want

I feel it is strange, we discuss here something, but you seem not even know abt the existence of the windows clock app which hass all functions you are asking for.
So just open it and use it instead of bringing some mobile phone dreams into it.
Why did you not check the windows clock at all?
just type clock in the search field of your windows machine and all is here.

No need for confusing and not understandable description of some smart phone functions here

the main issue is not only

the main issue is not only the multi timers but also the permanent visability of appointments and tasks. of course at lower display brightness.
i have also pain that my win calendar app doesnt break display off or other battery saving options.
optimal would be a win smartphone, as win has permanent monthly sec updates and not 90d after some time.
i would like to sync with desktop so i propably need to experiment by installing win11 on a lumia, as portable console would be kinda useless extra hardware i think.
i heard you can now install win11 on phones, as limit canceled but can have some features not working.
as i dont need high performance phone it would be an idea, if not to complicated and few years win11 updates.
a middle class android phone would be best, if not changing to 3m updates and also easy self-repair.
i dont want new laptop before win12 on it.
i'm hard struggling, at least now phones in europe are long term support.
thx
