why is notepad++ portable setting follow windows design disabled?

nor the portable version from here (two ver. behind) either the newest from 30 nov have enabled 'follow windows' theme.
it seem to follow windows theme partially anyway.
sadly is the app background orange and active text white on grey or grey on grey, unreadable!
any ideas?

if you choose 'dark theme' 'user defined' seem to follow system theme settings better.
sadly nor the opened files or the last opened files are there although put old config file over the delivered.
don't they save all in the config file?!

you can use the system theme settings by choosing 'user defined'.
it wasn't on a external drive but don't want to enable 'follow windows'.
is it the sense of portability?!
