I have the JRE on the same thumb drive as firefox portable. I was wondering if there is a way to tell firefox to look in a specific place for the jre rather than the default one.

I suggest...

...looking at the Open Office.org 2.2 Portable thread in the Beta forums. There is a suggested location for storing Java that can be used.
