I was thinking, wouldn't it be cool if some of the programmers here made a portable suite of Anti-Virus (already done), Anti-Spyware and maybe even a FireWall in a 'suite'/'bundle' sort of thing...
I'm not volunteering, but I would love to see it happen.

I didn't know that ClamWin scanned for Spyware to.

It's in Spanish but it's absolutely portable (no install) and freeware, it detects many spyware and is updated almost daily (just have to substitute the old one for the new one)...

I'm using it to remove a spyware that is transmitted trough MSN Messenger and it was impossible to remove from my secretary's PC... I couldn't so I sent a copy of the virus to the producers of this program and they sent me back (in two days) a new version that removed it.

would love to see a program that works just like Avast U3.
too bad avast chose to release a portable version of avast under U3 and not through Portableapps.com.

portableapps.com forgot good and handy program as an anti-spy ware/malware/trojen/ad-aware program which is open-source too
its from safer networks its called spybot search and destroy i guess most of the windows users here re familiar??
and maybe we could see some open source firewall u know like the ones are offred to linux maybe for the portable app menu?
spybot is not open source, unless they changed that very recently, and linux may have open source firewalls, but these are all Windows applications
