Autorun for PA

Have a 4G Sandisk with U3 removed. Was working great with PA until I tried out Folder Lock. Short version, it screwed up my stick and I had to reformat it. I can load PA on it but windows no longer gives me the autorun menu where I could choose to run PA. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Just want it back the way it was. Thanks.

reformatting removed the

reformatting removed the auotrun.inf file. I'm not sure how to set up a new autorun.inf, but I'm about 99% sure that's the problem

autorun.inf

Thanks Ed. I tried the file and also the info on your site to no avail. It did, however, rename the drive. Still will not give the windows pop-up for it. Regular autorun file is:

[Autorun]
Open=PortableApps\PortableAppsMenu\PortableAppsMenu.exe
Action=Start PortableApps
Icon=PortableApps\PortableAppsMenu\PortableAppsMenu.exe
Label=PortableApps

It doesn't want to run either. Guess I'm stuck using the old fashion way.

Windows issue

It's a Windows issue that you're going to have to sort out. Folder lock broke it for you (nice of it, eh?). Maybe something like activate autorun would help. I've never used it, so can't speak to it.

Sometimes, the impossible can become possible, if you're awesome!

WOW you know long my computer's autorun was disable for. Thanks John T. Haller.
I've been searching these forums for a while to get the auto run enabled. I though it was my computer because i tried it on someones else and it worked. Thanks again.

MS fix

Well if you've got the autorun.inf fixed you may need to repair Windows.

Autorun/Autoplay

Thanks for all of the input guys. "Tweak UI" took care of the problem. For some reason autoplay for removeable drives was turned off after the "experience" with Folder Lock. Have wiped all traces of it from my laptop. Looking forward to more Themes, John. Have customized a couple for my own use via Photoshop.
