Deskwin Portable

I have created a portable version of deskwin as I sometimes need to work with virtual desktops and would like to that, as well, from my USB drive.

DeswinPortable_1.6.1_beta

I did put a beta label on it as it has only been tested by me, the beta refers to the portable version.

The portable package is built upon John's PuttyPortable and should confirm to porttableApps.com

Once the beta has been tested I'll create a nicer splash screen and release it in firm revision.

I hope that anyone can gain anything from it.

Cool.

Works fine for me, and I found nothing left in the registry, etc.

I like some of the features of this program, I am also working on VirtuaWin Portable.

Here is a more direct link to the Deskwin homepage.

question on use

Hi
This may not be possible, and if so just tell me, but I don't really need more than one desktop - I just want the one portable one. Thus, I could plug my drive in and the icons I want be there on my portable desktop, but not the icons of anything already on the windows desktop.

Is there a way to do this?
Thanks
Rich

Great apps!

This is great! This and gPortable are very useful. Do you have a website?
