Okay, I found a bit of info on make Komodo Edit run off a flash drive, but it's way way to big, so I'm curious whether someone could make a compressed version + remove the need for opening command prompt to execute it.
Program: Komodo Edit
License: Free, based on Mozilla lib's so should be under same licensing.
Description: Advanced text edit with syntax highlighting, autocompletion of language specific keywords, ability to have addons ect. (not sure if it's exactly the same as Nvu.)
Website: http://activestate.com/Products/komodo_edit/
Other: Please read here: http://community.activestate.com/forum-topic/portable-komodo
It's a closed source product. You can't do anything with it.
Sometimes, the impossible can become possible, if you're awesome!
Now Komodo Edit 4.3 is licensed under Mozilla Public License, GPL and LGPL
see at http://www.activestate.com/Products/komodo_ide/komodo_edit.mhtml
in the licensing section
Good job finding that version and posting the info.
