just came to know about portable apps and firefox. at work its very restricted can someone tell where to start from so i can access internet at work.

I have no signature again...
If a packet hits a pocket on a socket on a port,
and the bus is interrupted as a very last resort,
and the address of the memory makes your floppy disk abort,
then the socket packet pocket has an error to report
Most of the time Firefox will connect automatically but if that doesn't work you're going to want to get these internet settings and apply then to Tools|Options...|Advanced|Network|Settings...
(select manual proxy settings)
HTTP proxy
Port
SSL Proxy
FTP Proxy
Gopher Proxy*
SOCKS Proxy*
*Yes, these are the real names of the proxies.
