Firefox updates several times a week. Why so many? Maybe it does a general update, say, once every two weeks? Or maybe once a month.

Firefox has a planned update every 4 weeks on a Tuesday. This is when new major versions come out on Stable/Beta/etc and when bug fix packages are released to ESR/Legacy. In addition, there are security and bug fix releases when a significant issue arises. These are unplanned and could come any day.

My Firefox offers me an update every day. Is this normal?
This isn't typical of every month but it's also not unusual. There was a bug fix followed by a fix for a slowdown issue in TikTok followed by a security fix. I already outlined when updates happen and why above. Firefox's stable channel has had 5 releases so far this month. Coincidentally, Google Chrome has also had 5 updates so far this month on the stable channel.
Browsers have a massive attack surface and a ton of places that bugs can crop up. These sorts of frequent releases are not uncommon in modern browsers. The alternative is leaving yourself vulnerable to attack.

I think I found my mistake. I am using Firefox in RAM-disk. Probably because of this the browser can not update, and tries to update again on each launch. Could it be? I am using AMD RADEON RAMDisk application.
