Description:
SnipSVG is a screen capture and editing tool to create annotated screenshots. The company behind SnipSVG makes the commercial help and documentation tool Help+Manual, so the focus of the program is on creating screenshots for technical documentation and for websites.
What makes SnipSVG different from most capture tools and image editors is that it prefers to save images in SVG format. SVG is a vector format and scales seamlessly. It can be used for publishing, while individual elements of an image remain editable. Furthermore, SVG supports animations and user interactions. SnipSVG includes several types of CSS and Javascript animations and interactive elements such as links, mouse-over animations and web videos.
