why not one ff version like other apps?

not sure why you cant build one ff
i think other apps prompt directly lng selector
why so much work on ff?
hope you can shrink to one or
at least use ai to build
you would save much traffic and time
you said, if remember well, that its understanding issue for users but
i think all your apps prompt directly lng selector, like npp or
do i mix with other app?
hope it helps
thx
ps
bold letters to get you read it before you create 1000 builds
will change after response

Mozilla Apps Are Single Language

The Mozilla apps themselves (Firefox, Thunderbird, SeaMonkey, Sunbird, etc) are all built with a single language contained within. The installers and the apps themselves are single language. As such, it requires building out individual languages. You can't just 'use AI to build' to change this. When you download Firefox from Mozilla for local use, it uses your browser's language to give you the correct installer automatically. So, to non-portable users, it is invisible. If you want to download a specific language of Firefox for local use, you have to do that manually: https://www.firefox.com/en-US/download/all/desktop-release/win64/

Side Note: It is possible to manually add other languages via extensions for the UI language, spell check, etc, but it would involve the end user manually opening Firefox in English, a language they don't speak or understand, navigating to the Language section of Settings, and manually adding language to be downloaded and then configuring them as default.

ai for building portable? or stack automation

wrong
i meant you could possibly use at least ai to build your apps
i'm not aware how many changes and if stackable or automatizable like pic stack work
if not maybe you can ask mozilla to improve it
i dont think text is much space, you could save millions of lines on a floppy,i think
but maybe better try to improve your building,as they may drop ff,as they have little market and
it could make too much traffic cost to survive
thx
ps
i read first 3lines,read later

i help were i can. maybe you can help me too. threads in account/track.

Nope

The build time is because of compressing/building all the installers and then having to upload 5GB per version via my home internet connection, 40Mbps upload which costs $90/month and is the max available to me. This takes close to an hour per channel total between building and uploading.

There are 4 omni.ja files (one in Firefox, one in Firefox\browser, then double that for 32-bit/64-bit) which are 37 to 45GB. These are the files that differ between languages. And they're binary, not text.

Those Are The Language Files, Satellite is Slower

Those omni.ja files *are* the language files the way the Mozilla apps are structured. Satellite internet (Starlink, etc) is slower than my cable service, topping out at 30Mbps upload in only some select areas.

Slower

My current speed is 40Mbps. Satellite maxes out at 30Mbps and only in some locations. Satellite is slower. The only thing faster is fiber via Verizon Fios and they don't serve my specific block in NYC.

i got it that only maybe starlink is faster, i dont want you to push you there. dont change running
they seem to have 150-250 for 50euro, if interested but no idea of upload UPDATE not mobile)
if this method has same by upload, as dsl has not
the other thing was hosting, i think you mentioned it in the 'up again' post
thats interesting, as you metioned savings by 10x or so

Upload

The numbers I have listed are for uploads. Starlink is slower than my cable here in NYC.
