RadioSure 2.2.1046 Portable Dev Test 1

Application: RadioSure
Category: Music & Video
Description:

RadioSure allows you to browse through a huge variety of stations, sorting by language, country, genre and title.

Features: RadioSure can still be used for years ! Smile
Since the RadioSure's server was shutdown (in march 2022), RadioSure no longer receives updates to its database of radio station. (FYI, radiosure.com was hosted in russia.) For its users around the world this will become a problem in the medium term. Without a regularly updated list of radio streams the software will no longer offer new radios, and will no longer connect to radios as soon as their stream addresses change.

WARNING: NOT OPEN SOURCE!

Just an app everybody seemed to like having around. Won't be an official app.

Made one small change to actual program: updated with lame_enc.dll from LAME 3.100.1 package. Old .dll file was from 2012.

Updates of radio database available

RadioSure is alive!

The page https://www.radiosure.fr/ has a workaround for keeping database of radios updated.

As a simple user of this excellent software, I, like others, started looking for a solution. And I finally proposed one on github : create a radio list converter, allowing RadioSure to use the (Free) one from the "Wikipedia" of radios, Radio-Browser.info, with more than 40000 radio stations (200 countries) !

The page explain how to do it.
Basically you download a file and put it into "Stations" (sub-directory of RadioSure).

There's also some ways to do it automatically, but it involves two scripts and I can't test it. Or a redirect in the Windows Hosts file (is it possible to do using PortableApps? I don't know).

oh cool! duh. lol

i just started using this program. i like radio things. and free stuff. i will do my best to integrate these things this weekend, and release an update. thank you for the heads up.

honestly, a lot of the apps i do are proof of concept, and have a lot of stuff to be done to them. working on some really interesting projects right now.... look out for many crazy new things from me in the future.
