Portable applications are by far the best gift to the whole world of computer users, and I am deeply grateful for your efforts and existence. I would like to suggest that alongside LibreOffice and ApashOffice, separate applications be created for text, spreadsheets, and presentations, because I believe a large number of people use either one or the other. This would reduce PC RAM usage and speed up work with office applications. Sincere regards,

I can't find the related post, but he said (meaning): LibreOffice (and its parent-ptoject OpenOffice) is a huge app that can't be split into several sub-apps.

With something like Microsoft Office, the apps like Word, Excel, and PowerPoint are mostly separate apps that share common files, so it makes sense to install them individually. LibreOffice/OpenOffice are, essentially, one big app with a bunch of interfaces on top of it. When the installer used to allow you to only install one or two of the 6 apps in the suite, it would only save like 10% of the install size. Now, the local installer for LibreOffice doesn't even let you selectively install the apps anymore since it's not worth it.
