When I launch the portable version of gMKVExtractGUIPortable, I get the message [gMKVExtractGUI Portable requires MKVToolNix Portable installed, along with the following location:] [C:(Users\Administrator(Desktop)MKVToolNixPortable] [Would you like to visit the MKVToolNix Portable homepage to download the app now?] How can I resolve this?
Please provide the correct portable installation path. Thank you.

It doesn't work. I placed the two files together using the same path as yours, but I still get the same error message.
My path is:
C:\Users\Administrator\Desktop\MKVToolNix_gMKVGUI-Portable
It contains these two folders:
C:\Users\Administrator\Desktop\MKVToolNix_gMKVGUI-Portable
C:\Users\Administrator\Desktop\MKVToolNix_gMKVGUI-Portable
This is the startup program folder path:
C:\Users\Administrator\Desktop\MKVToolNix_gMKVGUI-Portable\gMKVExtractGUI_2.11.0-Portable\gMKVExtractGUIPortable.exe
C:\Users\Administrator\Desktop\MKVToolNix_gMKVGUI-Portable\MKVToolNix_x64_35.0-Portable\MKVToolNixPortable.exe
No! the folder names are different in your example. I don't understand what this MKVToolNix_gMKVGUI-Portable stands for. looks like you are downloading from official websites and/or missing some configs.

Change them to:
C:\Users\Administrator\Desktop\MKVToolNix_gMKVGUI-Portable\gMKVExtractGUIPortable\gMKVExtractGUIPortable.exe
C:\Users\Administrator\Desktop\MKVToolNix_gMKVGUI-Portable\MKVToolNixPortable\MKVToolNixPortable.exe
The AppID of MKVToolNixPortable must remain as is. The gMKVExtractGUIPortable.exe launcher will go to its parent directory and then look for MKVToolNixPortable. It will not find variants of that. All our apps are keyed based on their AppID for the launcher to update them and for apps to find each other.
