Ethereum app (cryptocurrency)

Can you add Ethereum app to PortableApps.com? It's the second most used cryptocurrency after BitCoin

App?

Which desktop app? Unlike Bitcoin, Dogecoin, Litecoin, etc, Ethereum doesn't have an official desktop client. I was considering doing MyCrypto a while back but MetaMask bought up the team and they abandoned the app.

Here are the list of the most popular cryptocurrencies as of 2025: https://www.bankrate.com/investing/types-of-cryptocurrency/ https://zebpay.com/blog/top-10-cryptos-to-invest-in-2025 I wonder if any of those have official apps.

Point?

Your point being? With Bitcoin, Litecoin, and Dogecoin, I'm using the official open source app from the developers that also serves as a node on the blockchain. Ethereum apprears to have no such client.

Yeah fr, I’ve noticed that

Yeah fr, I’ve noticed that too, there’s no real official Ethereum desktop app like Bitcoin Core or whatever. Most people I know just rock MetaMask on Chrome or their phone and call it a day. It does the job for basic stuff like swaps or sending coins, but yeah, it’s not the same as running your own node or having a full desktop wallet. Ethereum’s just way more about web and mobile tools rn, idk why but that’s kinda the vibe of the whole ecosystem. Lately I’ve been using browser-based trading setups instead of downloading random apps, and honestly it’s been way smoother. Banana Pro especially caught my eye, it’s clean, fast, and lets you trade across chains without all that install and configure nonsense. Lowkey feels like the future of crypto trading, ngl.
