Program: Grayjay (desktop version)
License: Source First License 1.1
Description: Grayjay combines video content from multiple platforms, such as YouTube, PeerTube, Twitch, and others, into one app, removing the need to switch between different platforms. It's a universal front-end aggregating contents across multiple video platforms, and a good alternative to the broken FreeTube (https://github.com/FreeTubeApp/FreeTube).
Website: https://grayjay.app/desktop/, and source code at https://github.com/futo-org/Grayjay.Desktop, which is a mirror of https://gitlab.futo.org/videostreaming/Grayjay.Desktop for issue tracking.
Other: FreeTube (beta testing portable version at https://portableapps.com/node/64694) is becoming unusable for nearly 2 weeks. FreeTube's dev team doesn't seem to have major activities trying to fix it. On FreeTube's GitHub page https://github.com/FreeTubeApp/FreeTube/issues, their dev team are very arrogant and hostile to users who reports issues and bugs like unable to play YouTube videos. An alternative mentioned in https://old.reddit.com/r/FreeTube/comments/1nq3xi5/does_anyone_know_how_... is GrayJay, which has a Windows portable version at https://grayjay.app/desktop/ (direct download link https://updater.grayjay.app/Apps/Grayjay.Desktop/Grayjay.Desktop-win-x64...), but it's not yet in PortableApps.com format. Could someone please make a PortableApps.com version of Grayjay?
