KeePassXC Browser integration

I've got the MS Store version of KPXC installed on my school laptop and wanted to try out the PortableApps version of it.

Unfortunately I couldn't get the browser integration to work.
After I had enabled browser integration within KPXC Portable, establishing the database connection between KPXC Browser extension and KPXC Portable failed without any feedback.
- Does KPXC Portable not support browser integration with the KPXC Browser extension installed on a supported browser?
- Could it be that the installed MS Store version of KPXC is confusing the system and causing the database connection to fail?

Since it took some persuading to have my ICT dept install KPXC for me (no admin rights), I am hesitant to uninstall the MS Store version in order to fully test the KPXC Portable independantly.
