Update to NPP 8.9.2 using platform fails

I installed Notepad++ using PortableApps Platform. My Notepad++ was opened if I looked for updates. A NPP update was reported but no process check was proceeded and if I start the app after the update the version is still 8.9.1

Reinstall Manually

If you try to update an app while it's running, it could result in a partially updated app. To fix this, download a copy of Notepad++ Portable from the Notepad++ Portable homepage and then perform a Standalone Installation.

on previous updates there was

on previous updates there was a process check

if I install the paf.exe using the platform the process check worked und now the update is installed. In the previous installation the installation was finished, "branding" was writte, but if I start it the old version was still installed.

I used the latest 30.2 version of platform

Check Varies

I think the check may only detect if the 32-bit version is running, not the 64-bit but can't recall offhand. Best practice is to make sure your apps aren't running when updating. I'd like to do a full check on everything in the Updater itself, but it's a matter of available time.
