Hi. Every time I launch OBS Studio, it starts as if it's the first time it's been run. My settings do not bet remembered. How do I fix this? TIA.

Please include details like "include system details (OS version, 32 vs 64-bit), install path, new vs upgrade, etc." ALso include how you are launching OBS Studio portable

* Windows 11
* No admin rights so all of my personal apps are portable
* 64-bit
* Install path C:\Users\[my name]\PA
* New and upgrade (doesn't seem to matter)
* Launching from a pinned icon on the taskbar or from the Portable Apps Start menu.
Please note that if I install OBS portable manually, it works as expected. This only happens if I install it through the Portable Apps Start menu.
How did you pin the icon to your taskbar? If you did it while the app is running by right clicking it in the taskbar and selecting to pin, it won't run properly. It could then cause issues with your portable data.

In the PortableApps.com Platform, right-click on an app you want to pin to Taskbar and select Pin to Taskbar. Follow the instructions.

Use the Platform and then remove it. The utility to pin correctly is in the Platform.
