I am using two installations from Thunderbird (2 x 5 e-mail accounts to split between two businesses).
Actually only the main installation path "ThunderbirdPortable" is being updated.
Any tipps or recommendations how I can update the 2nd folder?

Thanks for sharing the relevant article. I did not find before.
Thunderbird just updated one copy, before I changed back the folder name to "ThunderbirdPortable_Copy_2". Actually I get "no new updates". Do I have to wait for the next Thunderbird update and then see if both folders are updated, or can I force the 2nd one earlier?
You can download Thunderbird from its page (https://portableapps.com/apps/internet/thunderbird_portable) and choose your Copy2 folder (X:\PortableApps\ThunderbirdPortable_Copy_2) when installing it.
