iABC - a music notepad program

iabc is a music notepad program. it uses the ABC notation to translate into graphical musical notes. It has a split view showing the note view, the ABC view, and lyric view. iABC can also translate your ABC notes into MIDI format.

it is Open Source and licensed under GNU GPL

it is written in C for Win32

I don't know whether or not the listed release is fully portable, but I wouldn't mind seeing this paf'd if it turns out not to be too difficult

UPDATE: Actually, the installation requires admin rights. I am not confident that the program itself, once installed, trully necessitates admin rights, making this a trivial issue if someone is willing to dig into the code.
