Microsoft PowerToys

very few nice mini windows enhancer tools from the microsoft staff, like Workspaces or to ie. manage windows also on more displays (FancyZones) and many others.
other nice tools are ie. Awake, Always On Top, Color Picker, File Explorer Add-ons, File Locksmith, Image Resizer, PowerRename, PowerToys Run, Video Conference Mute, ZoomIt, Mouse Without Borders and few more.
you can easily use all the missed features in windows, i noted the most usefull and self-explanatory.
you can get full info on the apps by the links on github in 'utilities'...
https://github.com/microsoft/PowerToys?tab=readme-ov-file#-utilities
its what i need the most if it comes to win apps, it would be the most valuable app/s i can imagine or use.
license: MIT
developed on github.
ist quite perfect or ready and in v0.9.8.

Preview, Really Big

First, this is a "preview" release of PowerToys. It's not considered stable. Second, unlike the individual sysinternals apps I make portable now (ZoomIt, Process Explorer, etc), this is only meant to be used as a large package of tools (about 1 GB installed) and it requires .NET 9 to work. That means a portable package of this version of ZoomIt will need to include the ~170MB .NET runtimes instead of just the 6MB install the current version is.

my fav+needed

are FancyZones and Workspaces.
i'm looking for better managing the windows and workspaces.
but there are also few other goldies for me and it wouldnt matter of possibly need to get the add-on.
many experts say it kinda should be on each win sys and i agree.
further plus is thats its directly from ms (stuff) and the space is nowadays not a problem, maybe in the 90s.
i think its huge impact, game changer and usefull for every user scenario, from newbie, student, business or retired.
its a game changer and in my top5 really needed apps.
i hope you do it, as we would get all the needed apps in one package.
UPDATE ok, its not v1 but 0.98.1 is ok, i would say, at least to start in dev test.
million thx

i help where i can. maybe you can help me too. see in account/track

"preview"

"Preview" is Microsoft's own designation. The PowerToys full kit is 1GB, larger than a standard LibreOffice Portable install. And it'll take creating individual launchers for each app and bundling them all together as they all store data in different locations and then packaging that all together with a custom made menu (ala Puzzle Collection Portable) so that the launchers are all called for each app as opposed to using the built-in PowerToys menu.

In short, this isn't a great candidate for portablization (huge, a ton of work to build and maintain, and a small percentage of our users would have interest). And then window management stuff is better suited to being installed locally.

Nope

As mentioned, it'll require the full bundle for them to work. Not just the .NET bits. It'll be huge.

your suggestions

i hope we find an alternative to use big screens like today common.
i would like to manage it comfy.
i'm not sure if some virtual desktops would be better, fancyzones seem to be also this way.
i need to divide the screen in 9-10 zones, monitor or tv.
maybe you can share your workflow or apps, as long term dev.
thx
