Platform “Videos” folder link…

This MUST have been discussed before, but I couldn’t find anything from a forum search. On my PA installation, the Music and Pictures links go to the USB folders, correctly, but the Videos button goes to the Windows Video folder instead. I keep PA up-to-date. I have had this problem for years, but thought I would find out if there’s a solution… ?

Fine Here

It's working fine here on both Windows 10 and Windows 11. Did you by any chance create a symlink folder to your local Videos folder?

Sometimes, the impossible can become possible, if you're awesome!

I found the problem and fixed it....

The problem was that I had a shortcut link saved in the USB "Videos" folder, which went to the Windows "Videos" folder associated with my Windows Profile. Every time I clicked the "Videos" button on the P.A. menu, it opened my Windows "Videos" folder, rather than the USB Videos folder.

I have just deleted that shortcut and the problem is fixed - now it just opens the USB Videos folder, like it should. I originally put that shortcut in there, thinking that I could use it to browse the "Windows" Videos folder, if I wanted. It appears that the platform saw that the link was there and used that to override the Platform "Videos" link - I guess that's as you suspected John.
