CUPID hack and the website for HWMonitor and CPU-Z compromised to download malicious installer

Do I need to worry about this? I always update from the PortableApps platform. This kind of attack seems to be happening a lot lately, with Notepad++ website getting hacked last in a similar manner.

I think current versions are safe that are on portableapps.com but it's a situation I'm sure John is keeping an eye on.
