Notepad++ 8.9.4 - don't save Cloud settings and create two cloud folders

Hi,
i have found 2 (two) folders 'cloud' inside:
- C:\PortableApps\Notepad++Portable\App\Notepad++
- C:\PortableApps\Notepad++Portable\App\Notepad++64
every folder 'cloud' contains a file 'choice' - without extension - with this string:
--> 'C:\PortableApps\Notepad++Portable\Data\Config'

A this point i have tried to change configuration:
--> Configuration --> Preferences --> 'Cloud and link' and i have ticked the item 'no cloud service': restart Notepad++ and i have found ticked the item ' path to your cloud folder' again with the path 'C:\PortableApps\Notepad++Portable\Data\Config'.
In practice:
- the choice to disable the cloud was not saved
- 2 (two) 'cloud' folders are created that have inside the text file 'choice' with the path 'C:\PortableApps\Notepad++Portable\Data\Config'.

I have found this problem also with previous version 8.9.3.

Any ideas ?
