truecrypt has been thoroughly discussed around here. To mount a container as a virtual drive, trecrypt needs to run a service, which requires admin access. TCExplorer was developed to combat the issue of using a system without having admin access right: it allows for decryption and modification of existing TC containers, though programs cannot be run from within it.
No fully portable OTF encryptor is possible if it plans to mount files as drives, and programs cannot be run from within those files unless they are first mounted.
I don't mean to run PortableApps from TrueCrypt, I mean to have TrueCrypt as a choice on the menu for PortableApps.
