I have searched and found some portable RSS readers, RSSOwlPortable is one of them.
However, I would like to get one with capability for offline reading of RSS articles with pictures included in the article. Many feeds include pictures, and in all RSS reader I have tried, the article text is available offline, but not the pictures and other embedded files.
Would be good if that could be done, so that I can read RSS feeds from my USB stick when sitting offline.
Any hints?
can have Feeds and he saves them for offline use.

I tried and installed Thunderbird, but it seems like to be able to do offline reading you have to at least visit each article once to download it. Is there an automatic way of doing this?
Regarding RSSOwl, I saw the offline alternative but unfortunately it doesn't download pictures included in the RSS articles for offline use.
