Is there an add-on like this....?

I need an add-on that can create links out of text. It can recognize text links and such so I can just click on them and not have to use the copy paste method.

Yes...

I'm sure I read somewhere that someone in here had it, maybe it's one of the 200+ extensions that Bahamut has.

There's Smart Link. I use it.
How to use it:
Select the text that it is a link, right mouse click: Smart Link > Smart open in...
or
Right mouse click: Smart open in...
