My Implementation...

John, just wanted to thank you for a fantastic applicaiton(s) ad wanted to share how I use the Portable apps. It's starting to replace my home computer.

I've installed PortbleApps to my my 2GB SD card in my Palm TX. There is a nifty palm app called Card Reader that will allow the palm to essentially act as a card reader, making the SD card appear as a drive in Windows. (not sure for other OS's)

I've started to carry all of my personal documents in the SD Card, and this gives me the flexibility to access all of my files on the Palm (using Documents to Go) and at work (via Open Office portable). With all of this flexibility, I'm slowly loosing the need for my home computer.

I'm limited by the 2GB limit of my Palm TX - This prevents me from carring my music and photo libraries with me. I see Portable Apps a being a great way to remove my need for a home computer once I find a way to get ~100 gig of storage accessible from my Palm or my next PDA - and back it up.
