Have you tried to do a web search for "open source anti spyware"? Or, if you are more interested in cost than philosophy "free anti spyware"?
I've tried searching for that and those programs have registry entries! Anyway, wouldn't it be cool for John (psst, John, start looking) to make an official portable version of an anti-spyware program??
