First let me appreciate you for the concept behind this site and outstanding portables. The way of thinking, designing and updating the 'wonder' portableapps.com is really a jewel to your crown. As a newcomer to this site and portable concept I would like to say that u are one of the 'genius creators' in the field.
But I have some thing to say.... According to my observation , the portable SUITE ( base ) and the MENU are the most important components of this whole bundle and concept...almost like the face and appearance of a person. But it seems that u r not giving much importance to both of them. ( Is that ignoring?)
I don't think that u need to be reminded about the defects or issues related to both of them. I am quite sure that u r aware abt that more than any body else...
Going through the beta section I could see that your last improvisation on the menu (and suite?) was done almost 6 months back.
So please, please give more attention to these two jewels in ur crown. It's a request and i expect that it needs no more explanation

The whole project started with Mozillas Apps (Firefox and then Thunderbird) and OpenOffice. So I would understand John if the menu and all the other Apps have lower priority. And from what I have heared, there was a lot going on behind the scenes about getting other companies programms here as PortableApps so that and some unforeseeable events led to the current state of not having the new Menu ready as soon as John (and others) would have liked it.

May be Simeon..There may be events and politics behind the curtain. But nothing justifies the attitude towards the 'menu and suite'since both of them are John's 'own' brain children. Who else could care them than John? (I have seen so many 'attempts' among beta session.)
