ive edited the menu a bit... but i cannot do this one thing...
I Cannot Change The Icon On The Taskbar When It Starts.

i got the source from the zip file and ive been using that app (resource hacker) and nothing happens.. ive edited all icons that could be edited
any idea?

I think it's just spm.ico that's the System Tray icon, but you can replace the other and logo16.bmp and start2.bmp to a logo of your choice, probally the same size, the just recompile...?

are you compiling the source or trying to use resource hacker?
if your compiling from source, you have to open the project and remove the icon from the tray icon properties then add your updated icon.

im using resource hacker
also, smithtech, there is an error in the folder options there is a white box covering some things. im trying to fix it but cannot (lol)
in resource hacker there is no where i can find the taskbar icon,
and know where in the source folder(.zip folder) i downloaded from ur site edited all the icons and still is the same icon down there in the taskbar

is there anyway that you can tell me what u use and if it can change the tray icon on ur app. can u tell me the name? but if it cost money, can i give u the icon file and u can do it?

I've been planning on adding the option to change the tray icon.
Until I get around to it, you can download turbo delphi from borland, its free.
Then you can open the project and edit the source directly and recompile it.

takes up to much space, srry only 1 gb left on this old computer bought on 2000 with only a 7 gb hard drive. any other (small) apps that can edit the icon?

when i roll over the taskbar icon it says "SmartTech Portable Menu"
Cannot Find It In Resource Hacker... Also Need To Edit That So It Says "DBD Portable Menu"

the Menu Title in the options window (after compiling). I guess that changes the line if you roll over the taskbar, too.
EDIT:
I checked. It doesnt change the taskbar line.
Could you (Smithtech) make that change too?
