Does the portable apps suite run via USB on new Nokia E90 smartphone?

Hi,

I'm considering purchasing a new Nokia E90 but wanted to understand if the portable apps suite would be fully compatible / able to perform if used via USB and the mini_USB connector. The utility of the phone would be greatly enhanced if I could use the same suite between laptop & phone.

Does anyone have any personal experience in this area or know of any online data that may help?

Cheers.

Why shouldn't it? Phone is just another device. I use my Nokia for this purpose and never have any problem. But it has one drawback - is extremely slow Sad

The apps will not run on the phone, but if using the phone as storage for the apps, they will run on the PC that you connect the phone to.

Yes / No

Yes, as in you can use the phone as a USB drive and run it like that.
No, as in you can't actually use it on the phone.

I don't have personal experience with the Nokia product but,

I can't connect a Motorola phone with a USB port to a computer and access it. Moto claims it only works with their prop. software, which is extra cost. The discussions on the BitPim website indicate the phone connects as a modem, not a memory device. If the Nokia connects as a modem too, that would explain the slow speed as memory.
