XFire for Pidgin Portable Plugin

I was wondering if anyone has found an XFire plugin for Pidgin Portable that works.

I've already visited this site: http://www.fryx.ch/xfire/ and tried to install that one for Gaim, but didn't have any luck. Anyone got any tips or links that could help me out?

Thanks a lot.

This is how you make it work

Get the gfire plugin from here: http://gfire.sourceforge.net/snapshots/gaim-xfire-0.6.1~20070505-p2.0.0-...

Install the plugin to a temporary directory on your "C" drive. (Example: C:\gfire)

Go to the C:\gfire\plugins directory and copy libxfire.dll to the
H:\PortableApps\PidginPortable\App\Pidgin\plugins (Where "H" is the drive of your PortableApps USB Drive)

Go to the C:\gfire\pixmaps\pidgin\protocols folder. There are 3 folders here named 16, 22, 48.
Copy each of the png files in those folders to the corresponding folder in the
H:\PortableApps\PidginPortable\App\Pidgin\pixmaps\pidgin\protocols folder.

Now start up portable pidgin and you should be able to add an xfire account. : -)

Game name not showing correctly with GFire

Manually update your Gfire games list if your buddies games and servers show incorrectly (as mine did, with a game ID instead of the game name), by going to http://gfire.info/ and saving the gfiregameslist.zip file, and unpacking it to a directory of your choice.

Copy gfire_games.xml from the directory to your \PidginPortable\Data\settings\.purple directory.

Now games and server data should show correctly for each of your Xfire buddies.
