This is my final release, I no longer have time to maintain this app. If somebody else wishes to take over, feel free to do so.
This release fixes the working directory bug. Thanks to wraithdu for providing the fix.

I'm not a programmer but a translator, I can continue supporting Spanish translation for the new programmer... if there is one...
Come on boys, there is one somewhere that wants to continue with this App...
If a packet hits a pocket on a socket on a port,
and the bus is interrupted as a very last resort,
and the address of the memory makes your floppy disk abort,
then the socket packet pocket has an error to report

I'll have a look at it
and if I can work out what it's doing (! :-?) I might try doing some development on it.
I've never used AHK before.
I can't download it at school (“Access to http://www.nascent-project.org/zachhudock/downloads/Cafe_Mod_Beta_5.exe has been blocked by WebMarshal™” 
sigh...), I might try it when I get home.
I presume that the source code is included in the download?
So I'll get back to you later.

PAF Dev Test Requirements
Hey Zach, I don't think I can take over this project (yet- I haven't had much experience with AHK) but I think I'll have a crack at brining CAFE Mod up to the current development test specs. I post back in a bit.
[On a side note, it really shows how much developing is going on here when this thread dropped of the first page in less than 2 days. Hmm.]

CAFE Mod Beta 5: PAF Dev test standards
Okay, I have brought CAFE Mod up to PAF standards.

Fixes included:
- Distributed with PortableApps.com Installer
- Compliant with PAF Specs
- Uses a basic launcher that copies cafe settings to Data/Settings and uses splash screen
- Includes an icon I made
Zach (or new developer), feel free to use this.

I made a better icon using the Tango theme, and compiled CAFE with it too. No more generic H. (Paused still shows an S icon though.) Please leave any comments on my update to CAFE Mod.

Those are nice icons....
Are we allowed to use the original image? If not there is also option number one and option number two. What do you guys think?
EDIT: It seems that the original image is actually a pin. But I did find a few more options.

Oh well... there are a few things.
I've been working with the CAFE Mod source, and I've put together some updates.
Zach, I think I can *temporarily* take over the development of CAFE, but call me an interm developer for it. If anyone else with better qualifications for AHK comes along, they could take over, but I really would like to keep this app going. CAFE is great.
I'll post back when I get the updates finalized , probably tomorrow or Wednesday.

Other thing to fix
I also hate that every time I click on ann app without a file assosiation, it asks to make one. What does it take to just want to open a txt file with notepad? I can understand asking me the first time, but after a while, it gets annoying

If an extension does not yet
If an extension does not yet have an association, that popup will display, then you can either create an association, or it will use the default.

I meant if there was an assosiation already
I'd like to open the file with Windows regular method. I can't set this as the alternate opening, as when I switch PC's, it may not work, and I already have an alternative app.

Cafe Mod Beta 5b
Hey Zach, I'm just waiting for you to OK it that I can take over CAFE. Sorry I took a bit longer than I expected. I've updated it to Beta 5b to include the following minor updates:
- New icons for both running and paused
- An improved help file and updated instructions, and
- I've added a few traytips around the extension configuration/adding an extention sections to tell the user what has happened
