I have just automatically upgraded to the latest version 2 portable Thunderbird. When it launched all my local folders were missing, which means I cannot find any of my e-mails and I cannot receive/send or write any e-mails.
I have no idea where to being to resolve this.
Anyone please help!!!
Reboot your PC to ensure all TB processes are gone. It may have restarted without the Thunderbird Portable Launcher still running (it happens sometimes) and pointed to your local PC.
And you can install Thunderbird Portable 2.0.0.6 over your current version on the off chance there is any corruption as well. (Your data will be preserved)
Sometimes, the impossible can become possible, if you're awesome!
I did as told but it didn't help. All folders are gone as well as my accounts settings. Thunderbird Portable starts with a wizard asking to create new account. What Can I do now???
Please help me!!! I lost all my mail!!!
Redownload Thunderbird Portable and install it over the top (don't worry, any data there will stay).
If that doesn't work, you may have a corrupt profile. See the Mozilla KB on disappearing email (especially part 3).
